Currency exchange is the main business. The vape and accessory counters sit under the same roof on Hoe Street. Everything is bought and sold in person.

Buying and selling banknotes
We quote both sides of every rate: what we pay you for currency, and what you pay us for it. 8 currencies are on the board today, and we will tell you honestly if we do not hold something rather than take an order we cannot fill.
Reserving before you travel
Tell us the currency and the amount and we will have it counted and ready for you to collect. Reserving costs nothing and commits you to nothing — it means the notes are in the drawer when you arrive.
Larger amounts
For a larger exchange it is worth calling ahead so we can make sure the denominations you want are in stock. Identification requirements apply in certain circumstances — our identification page explains what to bring.
How our pricing works
There is no separate commission to work out at the counter. Our margin is already inside the rate you see, which is why we publish a buy price and a sell price rather than one number and a fee.
That margin covers the real costs of a cash business: holding physical notes, insuring them, and carrying the risk that the market moves while they sit in the till.
Rates on this website are indicative and for guidance only. The rate that applies is the one quoted at our counter when you exchange.
What this website does — and does not
- Shows the rates we are quoting today.
- Takes reservations so your currency is ready.
- Never asks for card details or holds your cash.
- Cannot arrange a payment to somebody overseas.
If you need to pay someone in another country, your bank or an authorised provider is the right route — not us.
Regulation
UK money service businesses have registration obligations with HMRC and identification requirements that apply in certain circumstances.
